Privacy Notice
Last updated August 18, 2026. This notice explains, in plain language, what Black Scheftie stores during the public beta and how the site uses that information.
What we store
Black Scheftie can be used without creating an account. If you create an account, we store the information needed to provide account features, including your email address, account profile information, saved Sleeper leagues, selected team/roster, preferences, and any saved trade data you choose to keep.
If you submit beta feedback, we store the category and message you submit, the page you submitted it from, basic browser information used to diagnose bugs, and an email address only if you choose to include one.
During public beta, Black Scheftie may also automatically record a limited technical report when the browser encounters a JavaScript error, an unhandled promise rejection, or a site resource that fails to load. These reports contain the error type and message, the affected page path, the source file path when available, line/column information when available, and basic browser information. Automatic error reports do not intentionally include form contents, passwords, saved fantasy data, URL query strings, or URL fragments.
Sleeper league data
When you connect or enter a Sleeper league, Black Scheftie reads league, roster, player, record, and draft-pick information from Sleeper so the site can provide league-aware analysis. Black Scheftie does not ask for or store your Sleeper password.
How the information is used
Information is used to operate Black Scheftie, keep your saved account preferences available across sessions, generate fantasy-football analysis, protect the site from abuse, diagnose technical problems, and improve the public beta. Black Scheftie does not sell user data to advertisers.
Service providers
Black Scheftie relies on infrastructure and service providers to run the site. These currently include Supabase for account/database services, Render for application hosting, Cloudflare Turnstile for anti-abuse verification, and Resend for account-related email delivery. Those providers may process technical information as necessary to provide their services.
Account controls
Your Account page includes controls to export the account data Black Scheftie stores for you and to delete your account. Deleting your account removes the associated Black Scheftie account records through the site's account-deletion process.
Security and beta status
Black Scheftie uses security controls intended to protect account and application data, but no internet service can guarantee perfect security. Because the site is in public beta, features and data practices may evolve. Material changes to this notice will be reflected on this page.
Questions or privacy feedback
Use the site-wide Feedback button and choose General Feedback if you have a privacy question or want to report a data-handling concern. You may include an email address if you want a response.
